Internship
This program is designed for individuals, groups, and students to take up internship positions 3 months maximum in our schools, health centers, and community projects. Whether you're an aspiring teacher, nurse, doctor, engineer, or social worker, your skills can make a meaningful impact.
In our schools, where there is a shortage of teachers, you’ll have the opportunity to teach subjects like literacy and numeracy, ICT, hygiene, science, environmental studies, foreign languages, and physical education to students in kindergarten, primary, and junior high schools. You’ll be working under the guidance of a local professional teacher, helping to shape the future of eager young minds.
For those with a medical background, we offer internships in our community health centers. Nursing students, doctors, lab technicians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals are invited to assist in hospitals such as Kpando Margret Marquart Hospital and Hohoe Municipal Hospital, as well as other health centers in neighboring communities. Your work will be supervised by experienced medical directors, ensuring you gain valuable hands-on experience while making a difference in under-resourced areas.
Additionally, if you're pursuing a career in social work or engineering, there are opportunities to contribute to community development projects. Social work interns can engage with local communities to support various social initiatives, while engineering students can participate in infrastructure projects that improve living conditions in these communities.
